Founder and Executive Director Iffat Walker is a native Virgin Islander from the Island of St.Thomas. 

Ms. Walker is a compassionate change agent with a solid fiscal management and social service delivery background.  Iffat holds a Master of Accounting & Financial Management Degree and a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management (Accounting Focus).  


Her passion to enrich the lives of others is the fabric of Community Action NOW. Selfless leadership

Dr. Henry M. Carter has his B.S Degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice, Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and his Doctorate of Business Administration. 


Dr. Carter is an author, life coach and national trainer. He has 25 yrs. of community and leadership development experience. 

Dr. Carter served as an Executive Director and Operation Manager for the YMCA and as the Director of Atlanta Technical College Institute for Males. Dr. Carter is the Founder and CEO of Manly Deeds Inc. an organization that provides post-secondary preparation, personal and professional development skills for boys and men of color. 


Dr. Carter is also the President of H.M. Carter and Associates a company that offers consulting, workshops, seminars and public speaking.

Vincent Washington is a native of Poughkeepsie, NY currently residing in E. Metro Atlanta, GA. 

Mr. Washington is a compassionate and highly qualified Substance Abuse and Case Management Professional with over 6 years of experience working with individuals struggling with addiction. Mr. Washington currently serves as the Outreach Specialist and Lead Case Manager of STAND, Inc. 

Mr. Washington is proficient in psycho-social assessments, process groups, individual counseling, and Psycho-educational groups. Mr. Washington has experience working with multi-disciplinary teams that can quickly establish and maintain therapeutic alliances with individuals of various ages, ethnicity, gender and culture. Mr Washington instrumental in helping to develop a DATAP program for Atlanta Psychotherapy for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Mr. Washington brings passion, commitment and hands on experience to this agency’s Board of Directors.

Ms. Bell holds a Bachelor of Science (Organizational Management), from Nyack College and Master’s in Business Administration & Human Resources, University of Phoenix.

Dr. Celia Victor is a pharmacotherapy specialist and public health advisor committed to serving children and adults in both a health and service sector framework. Dr. Victor, a native of the United States Virgin Islands, . Dr. Victor holds a Psychology (1993) from Temple University. She subsequently acquired employment at several hospitals such as Good Samaritan Hospital and Northwestern Methadone Recovery Clinic (Philadelphia, PA) as well as Johns Hopkins University Hospital (Baltimore, MD). Thus, she was granted admission to Temple University School of Pharmacy where she completed her professional education in pharmacy, culminating in the conferment of a Pharm.D. Degree (2002)

 Kyza A. Callwood is a  Ph.D. Candidate in Creative Leadership for Innovation and Change with an emphasis in Education/Academic Leadership for Change and new generation of leadership for change. Kyza is a graduate of the University of the Virgin Islands with a Master of Public Administration, Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration (magna cum laude) and Associate of Arts Degree in Business Management. Also, Kyza is a Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Certified Ethics Associate, and Certified Business Office Manager.


 Currently, Kyza is the Vice-Chair of the Virgin Islands Board of Education and Chairperson of the Professional Staff and Higher Education committee.  


Kyza brings experience, talent, love and compassion for fellow Virgin Islanders.

Tara Lewis McFarlane brings over  25 years of experience in meeting and event planning, project management, and marketing.  Her work spans the spectrum between the business, public, and non-profit community. She has worked successfully in the hospitality, food & beverage industry including management positions with the W Hotel Buckhead and the Holiday Inn Select, both in Atlanta, Georgia. 


Tara also served as Manager of Education Services at the National Child Support Enforcement Association, in Washington DC. Mrs. McFarlane is a founding partner and director of the celebrated organization, 4 VI Girls Incorporated, a non-profit organization in St. Thomas, USVI. 


A woman of many talents, Tara is also an experienced and successful political campaign manager.  Tara has been married to Wayne McFarlane Sr. for 28 years and they have 3 sons, Wayne Jr., Malik and Tariq McFarlane.
