In 2016, Community Action NOW! partnered with the Thread Foundation to improve the learning environment for 105 children in Ntonso's primary school. Recognizing the need for infrastructure upgrades, furniture, and improved security, we joined forces to make a difference.

In October 2017, Community Action NOW launched the school project to enhance the educational experience for 105 children in Ntonso, Ghana. We focused on creating a safe and supportive learning environment by providing essential resources such as desks, chairs, and improved security measures (windows and doors). This project not only benefited the 105 children and their teachers but also laid the foundation for a better learning experience for future generations of students in Ntonso.
This video of gratitude was provided to CAN by the Thread Foundation.
Building upon the success of the 2017 project, Community Action NOW! is excited to announce a new initiative for 2025. This year, we will focus on enhancing the school's aesthetic appeal and promoting sustainability. The project will involve painting the school building to create a more vibrant and inviting learning environment, while also exploring the feasibility of incorporating green energy solutions to reduce the school's environmental impact and operating costs. This continued commitment to improving the Ntonso Primary School reflects Community Action NOW!'s dedication to creating lasting positive change in the lives of children and communities in need.
